The Dr. Drill Instructor Program was designed to meet the needs of a cross section of our population. Whatever your present state of heath, genetic make up, current weight etc., we have a solution for you! The program, however, does involve a group fitness program in an authentic military format. Dr. Oberst requires that each recruit be properly examined prior to participation; true to the mantra, “Always consult your physician prior to engaging in any diet or exercise regimen.”
A general guideline is that each recruit should be able to:
- Walk one mile briskly and without trouble breathing
- Perform a stationary squat for 30 seconds
- Perform 10 push-ups (regular or modified)
- Conduct a variety of exercises of varying intensities for approximately one hour
